A registry for all Heuer Chronomatics (note only Monacos have the blue lume!)
Click on a serial number to see a photo of each historically important early prototype Chronomatic variant. Many thanks to the owners who have kindly participated and to owners we do not yet know about... please feel free to send me details of your Chronomatics for inclusion.
In 1969 Heuer (after developing the first automatic chronograph, with Breitling/Hamilton-Buren/Dubois-Depraz) got ready to launch their first models with the new calibre 11 movement and Carreras, Autavias and the newly designed Monaco were breifly badged "Chronomatics". However Breitling aquired the exclusive rights soon after and all production variants were then badged "automatic chronograph". Approx 20-30 of all dial variants are known to exist.
